Thomas Meharry - Drums

Thomas Meharry “AKA Coco Von Toots” handles the beat division of Green Goblin. He started playing drums at one year old but never turned professional until the age of three. After a recent drumming breakdown Tommy fled to amsterdam where he earned his corn fluffing for a few months then moved on to cleaning out self pleasure booths. Jim was on a song writting trip to Amsterdam and heard Coco playing drums on a homeless person and knew from that moment he had to make him a Goblin. Tommy comes from a very musical background. His parents Tommy snr and Tracy, took Tommy as a youngster all over the world as they toured their music, and Tommy eventually came to be their drummer full time.
  As a young drummer Tommy took most of his inspiration and instuction from who ever was playing with his parents at the time, these days following greats such as Mike Mangini, Gregg Bissonette, Thomas Lang and Dennis Chambers , (In no particular order), and tries to attend as many clinics as possible. After leaving home (and his mothers semi-retierment), Tommy has covered most styles of music ranging from Country to Heavy Metal,(to many bands to list) including a stint with the Circus once in Biggar! Fellow Goblin's Jim Duncan and Tommy have been forging a strong working relationship since high school, and having played together for so many years, have built a strong foundation for the writing, recording, and live projects they have worked on together.   
   Tommy is also an accomplished guitar player, and plays lead guitar for country trio Texas Back (along with his Wife Debbie Who sings with the trio.)
